Set high in the mountains Leben is a great place to get away and relax. Beautiful sunsets sunrises and star-gazing. Fantastic home cooked meals and great freindly service from Tomo.
West-West is the nearest Convenience store to HappyRaft. There is also a good little coffee shop and an Udon shop with an old-styled grass roof. Its located at the top of the first rapid on the Koboke section.
A beautiful guest-house run by our most beautiful rafting-canyoning guide. - See the staff page for Yumi’s profile. They have rennovated an old school to provide simple guest-house accommodation about 25 minutes from HappyRaft. 3500yen per person per night. No English website but you can call or write a mail and book.

Classy Onsen hotel. Very nicely perched on the side of the valley. Go to the bath by cable-car. Baths are very nice down bside the Iya river.
I’m so sorry for the late message - I hope you remember me - I’m the Australian exchange student that came over during golden week earlier this year.
I had a smashing time with you guys, starting all the way from my reception at Oboke reception. I am so grateful for the way you willingly accepted my last minute request for accommodation at your guesthouse and greeted me on my late arrival with a snack at Ooboke station. The guesthouse was clean and homely, and I had enjoyed a fun night around a barbeque with other guests.
The whitewater rafting was probably the best adventure experience I had. Johnny and Shin made it a lot of fun, including an unexpected 5 metre jump from a crevice!
Thanks to Hiromi, Teru, Johnny and Shin who made my stay at HappyRaft so much fun. It was the highlight of my trip to Shikoku and I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Shikoku!’
